The Payment & Delivery step is where you decide how money comes in and how your product goes out. What you see here depends on your offer type.
Services first: how do you plan to sell?

For a Service offer, the step opens with a simple question: How do you plan to sell this offer?
- Customers check out: take payment for this offer, in the DMs or with a checkout link. Pick this if the sale itself happens in the conversation.
- I book calls with them: drive people to a call where you or a closer sells and collects payment. Pick this if the DMs are for booking, not buying.
If you choose calls, checkout setup disappears and all you can add is an optional Call booking URL, like a Calendly link. You can even leave it blank if your sales agent will book through your connected calendar instead; you make that choice in the agent's setup.
Digital products skip this question and go straight to checkout setup.
Selling directly in DMs
Turn on Sell directly in DMs to let Cloziq handle the sale for you. Your agent sends a secure payment link in the conversation, Cloziq confirms when payment goes through, and delivery happens right there.
This runs through Stripe, so a few things need to be in place first:
- Stripe connected in Settings → Integrations. See Connect Stripe to get paid for offers.
- Your Stripe account ready to charge. If Stripe is connected but not fully set up (say, the business name is missing), Cloziq shows an "Action needed" note here and in Settings until it is fixed, because a checkout without a business name would confuse your buyers.
- A support email in Settings → Business Identity, so buyers always have a way to reach you.
When selling through Cloziq, you can also write:
- A Payment Page Title and Description for the Stripe checkout, so buyers recognize what they are paying for.
- A Post-Purchase DM Message, a short thank-you sent in the DMs right after checkout.
- A Post-Purchase Email, a richer message with formatting, links, and personal touches like the buyer's first name.
Stripe promotion codes work on these checkouts automatically, so you can run discounts without touching the offer.
Delivering a digital product automatically
For a digital product, turn on Deliver with Cloziq to send the files the moment payment lands.
- Upload up to 5 files, each up to 25 MB. Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV, PNG, JPG, WEBP, ZIP.
- After purchase, Cloziq emails the buyer their personal download page (using the email Stripe collects at checkout) and also sends it in the DMs when Instagram's messaging window allows.
- You can limit downloads per buyer to discourage sharing, or leave downloads unlimited.
Preview buttons on this step show you the exact email and download page your buyers will get.
Sending buyers to your own checkout
If you would rather use your own checkout, leave the direct-sale option off and add an External Checkout Link instead. Buyers pay on your page, and Cloziq stays out of the payment and delivery. Worth knowing: sales made on an external checkout do not appear in your Earnings automatically, because Cloziq cannot see them happen.
Tips
- Selling directly in DMs is what lets a prospect buy without ever leaving the conversation, which is where Cloziq shines.
- If the direct-sale toggle will not switch on, it is almost always one of the three prerequisites above. Each one tells you exactly where to go fix it.
- Larger files than 25 MB? Host them elsewhere and deliver a PDF with the link, or split the content.
