Get alerts when something needs you, and use Cloziq like an app on your phone.

Turning on notifications

Cloziq can let you know when something needs your attention, so you do not have to keep the app open all day. You control exactly what you hear about on the Notifications tab in Settings. What you can be notified about Notifications are grouped into three sections: - Conversion Events: when a sale completes or a call gets booked. The good news, delivered. - Needs Human Intervention: when an agent flags a contact for you to handle. If you only keep one on push, keep this one; someone is actively waiting on you. - Limits & Usage: contact storage capacity alerts, sales conversation limit alerts, and failed lead forwarding to tools like Zapier. Email and push Each category has two switches: Email and Push Notification. Turn on whichever you want for each; your choices save as you toggle them. - Email goes to your account email. - Push Notification pops up on your device, even when Cloziq is not open. - The in-app inbox is always on. The bell in the top bar collects everything regardless of your toggles, with an Activity tab for conversions and human-intervention events and an Alerts tab for the rest. The switches only control what leaves the app. A few alerts you cannot turn off (on purpose) Some things are too important to let a toggle silence. These bypass your settings entirely and are not listed on the Notifications tab. - Agent rule alerts. If Cloziq notices one of your agent's guardrail rules keeps misfiring on a live agent, it sends you the rule, how often it is firing, and an example, so you can reword it. At most once per agent per week. A misconfigured rule quietly degrading your agent is exactly the thing you would want to know about, even with everything else off. - A channel disconnecting. If an Instagram connection drops, your agents on that account stop working, so you get a push notification and an email regardless of your settings. See My Instagram disconnected. - Account and service messages from us, when something genuinely needs your attention. Turning on push The first time you switch on a Push Notification, your browser asks for permission to send notifications. Approve it, and you are set. On an iPhone, push works only once you have installed Cloziq to your home screen. If you turn on push on an iPhone without installing first, Cloziq tells you so. See Install Cloziq on your phone. Once push is on and permission is granted, use Send test notification on the same tab. It sends a real push to the device you are on, so you can confirm it arrives rather than finding out the hard way during a busy day. You will get one titled "Test notification", and the button rests for a minute before you can send another. Tips - A good starting point is push for Needs Human Intervention and Conversion Events, so you hear about the moments that matter most. - Notification links take you straight to the relevant contact or agent, so acting on one is a single tap. - Not getting them? Install Cloziq on your phone

Cloziq runs in your browser, but you can install it to your phone's home screen so it opens like a normal app, full screen, with its own icon. On an iPhone, installing is also what makes push notifications work. Install on iPhone (Safari) 1. Open Cloziq in Safari. 2. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow). 3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. 4. Confirm, and the Cloziq icon appears on your home screen. Open Cloziq from that icon from now on. This is required for push notifications on iPhone. Install on Android (Chrome) 1. Open Cloziq in Chrome. 2. Tap the menu (the three dots). 3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen. 4. Confirm, and the icon is added. On a computer In most desktop browsers, an install icon appears in the address bar when you are on Cloziq. Click it to install Cloziq as a desktop app. Tips - After installing on iPhone, open Cloziq from the home-screen icon, then turn on push from the Notifications tab. See Turning on notifications. - Installing does not create a separate account. It is the same Cloziq, just in an app-like window. Notifications aren't working

If push notifications are not showing up, it is almost always one of a few things. Work through these in order. Quickest first step: on Settings → Notifications, hit Send test notification. If the test arrives, push is working and the issue is with a specific category's toggle. If it does not, keep reading. The toggle is off Open Settings, then the Notifications tab, and make sure Push Notification is switched on for the kinds of alerts you want. Email and push are separate switches, so check the right one. You didn't grant browser permission Push needs your browser's permission. The first time you turn it on, your browser asks; if you dismissed or blocked that prompt, notifications cannot come through. Fix: turn the push toggle off and back on to trigger the prompt again, and allow it. If your browser remembers a block, you may need to re-enable notifications for Cloziq in your browser's site settings. This is also the right fix if push worked for a while and then stopped. Switching the toggle off and on re-registers the device, which clears out a stale registration left behind by an old version. On iPhone, Cloziq isn't installed On an iPhone, push only works when Cloziq is installed to your home screen. In a regular Safari tab there is nothing to fix and nothing is broken: iOS simply does not offer push to websites open in a tab, so the toggle will not do anything and you will not be asked for permission. Fix: install Cloziq to your home screen, open it from that icon, then turn on push. See Install Cloziq on your phone. Your device has notifications muted If everything in Cloziq looks right but nothing arrives, check your device's own notification settings and make sure Cloziq (or your browser) is allowed to notify you, and that focus or do-not-disturb modes are not blocking it. Still stuck? If you have checked all of these and push still is not working, reach out from the chat in your dashboard and tell us your device and browser. We will help you sort it out.
