How many initiatives can I run?

As many as you want. Initiatives are unlimited on every plan, so there is no cap on how many you build or run at once.

Why didn't my comment automation start a conversation?

For comment, story, and ad triggers, the prospect has to tap the opt-in button in the opt-in message before the sales conversation starts. If they only commented, or they replied in text without tapping, the conversation has not begun yet; their messages are kept, and the button keeps working whenever they get around to tapping it. Make sure your button text invites the tap, and turn on the public comment auto-reply so people know to check their DMs.

My opt-in message has no button when I look on my computer. Is it broken?

No. Instagram's desktop website simply does not display DM buttons; phones and the Instagram apps show them normally. Check from a phone before assuming anything is wrong.

What if someone triggers the same initiative twice?

No harm done. The opt-in message goes out again, and every opt-in button in the thread stays live, so whichever one they tap works. They will not be double-counted, and an opt-in message that was never tapped never counts against your plan.

Do I need a sales agent for every initiative?

No. You can use a Direct Conversion to send people straight to your offer with a tracked link, no agent involved. Use a Sales Agent when the conversation needs real qualifying or back-and-forth.

My initiative says Paused but I didn't pause it

Cloziq paused it for you. Hover the info icon on the badge and it tells you why: the agent was unpublished, the linked offer was archived, the channel was disconnected, or you reached your plan's conversation limit. Fix the cause and resume it from the row menu.

If the cause was an unpublished agent, publishing that agent again offers to turn its paused initiatives back on for you, so you usually do not have to resume them one by one.

Why do my metrics say "Pick a version to see these metrics"?

Because the initiative was set up differently over the period you are viewing, so combining the numbers would compare two different things (booked calls against closed sales, for instance). Choose a single version from the menu or narrow the date range. If you are planning to switch between Close Sales, Book Calls, and Direct Conversion, it is cleaner to build a fresh initiative so each keeps its own metrics.

Can I change an initiative after it is live?

Yes. Open it and use Pause & Edit on the section you want to change, then republish. Conversations already in progress are unaffected; changes apply to new ones. The metrics page lets you compare versions so you can see whether a change helped.

What do I need for ad triggers?

A read-only Facebook Ads connection, which Cloziq prompts you to set up the first time you choose an ad trigger. See Using ad triggers.

Someone saw my ad days ago and messaged me. Why didn't my ad initiative fire?

Instagram only tells Cloziq which ad a person came from for about a day after they open the chat. After that the link is gone, so a Reply to Ad trigger has nothing to match on.

Turn on Also trigger on these keywords without the ad in the trigger step and a DM matching your keywords starts the flow anyway. Keep those keywords specific to the ad, or everyday DMs will start it too. See Using ad triggers.

Tips

  • Try "Comment on Next Post or Reel" so your automation is armed before a launch post goes live. It claims one post, the first you publish after activating, so turn it on close to when you post.
  • If conversions are low, open the metrics and look for the funnel stage with the lowest progression first.
  • Keep keywords distinct across initiatives. Cloziq will refuse to activate two that compete, and the overlap check counts one keyword inside another, so "plan" and "planning" collide. See Why Cloziq blocked this activation.
