What happens when your trial ends

Your trial does not quietly expire and leave you locked out. It ends by becoming the plan you picked at signup.

What happens on the last day

Cloziq charges the card you chose during setup, and your subscription switches from trial to active. Your plan's full limits unlock at that moment: more sales conversations, more contact capacity, and the sales agents your tier allows.

Nothing you built goes anywhere. Your offers, agents, initiatives, contacts and conversation history all carry straight over. Live conversations keep running through the switch.

Your Billing tab shows the exact date this will happen, as "Subscription begins on" with the date, so it is never a surprise.

If the payment does not go through

Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Update your payment method from the Billing tab and try again. See Managing your subscription.

If you do not want to continue

Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. You can do that yourself from the Billing tab, through the billing portal. See Managing your subscription.

If you want your account and data removed entirely rather than just cancelled, cancel first, then see Deleting your account or data.

Ending it early on purpose

If the trial is clearly working and you would rather have your full limits now, Upgrade now on the Billing tab starts your paid plan immediately. Your card is charged there and then and the limits unlock on the spot. If the charge fails, you simply stay on your trial and can try again.

Any discount that was scheduled to apply to your subscription still applies when you upgrade early, so there is no penalty for not waiting.

What is different during the trial

Two things, both of which go away when your plan starts:

  • Trial limits are smaller than your plan's limits. They are shown when you pick your plan and on your Billing tab.
  • Overages are not available. You cannot run past your trial limits by paying for the extra; that only unlocks on a paid plan. Hitting the trial limits is usually the sign the plan will pay for itself. See Reaching your limit and overages.

Tips

  • If you are close to your trial's conversation limit with days still to run, upgrading early costs you nothing extra and stops your initiatives auto-pausing.
  • Check the Billing tab in your first week so you know your renewal date rather than guessing it.
