Connections can occasionally drop, usually because Instagram expired the access or a password changed. When that happens Cloziq emails you and tells you which of the two it was, and you reconnect. And if you ever want to remove an account from Cloziq entirely, you disconnect it. Both live in the same place.
Reconnect a channel
- Open Manage Workspace from the sidebar.
- Find the channel in your Connected Channels list.
- Click Reconnect on that channel.
- Log in and approve the permissions again. Your setup stays exactly as it was, and the connection picks back up.
Reconnecting does not reset anything. Your agents, initiatives, and contacts are untouched.
Disconnect a channel
Disconnecting stops Cloziq from reading or replying on that account.
- Open Manage Workspace from the sidebar.
- Find the channel and click Disconnect.
- Cloziq asks you to confirm, with a heads-up that this stops the connection and may interrupt your data syncing. Read it, then confirm with Disconnect.
- You will see a quick Channel disconnected confirmation.
You can reconnect that same account later any time, and pick up where you left off.
Tips
- If your agents suddenly stop replying on one account, a dropped connection is the most common cause. Reconnect first.
- Disconnecting one channel does not affect your other connected channels.
