Understanding usage and limits

Your Billing tab has a Usage & Limits section that shows how much of your plan you have used this cycle. Two things are worth watching, and both also appear on your dashboard's Account Health cards, always showing the same numbers.

Sales conversations

The main thing your plan meters is sales conversations, the real conversations your agents have with prospects. The meter shows how many you have used out of your plan's limit and when it resets.

The counting is on your side: a conversation is only counted when a prospect actually starts talking with your agent, never for openings that went untapped, and your own Test Agent chats are always free. The full rules are in What counts as a Sales Conversation.

Contact capacity

You also have a contact capacity, the number of contacts your workspace can store. It has its own meter, and Cloziq warns you as you approach it, with a notification as you near the limit if you have capacity alerts on. Only real prospects count; test contacts never do, and a contact you delete stops counting straight away. See Managing contacts and capacity.

There is an Upgrade Storage button on that meter, but it is not switched on yet and shows a "Coming soon" note when you hover it. For now, more room means moving to a plan with a bigger capacity, or clearing out contacts you no longer need.

Wherever you see these numbers, on the Contacts page, the dashboard, or here, they always agree, because they are counted the same way everywhere.

Tips

  • The usage section reflects your current billing cycle and resets each period. There is a refresh control if you want the very latest read mid-campaign.
  • If you are regularly close to your sales-conversation limit, it is usually a sign to look at a higher tier, or to turn on overages so you never get interrupted. See Reaching your limit and overages.
