If you already sell this product on a web page, you do not have to retype everything. Cloziq can read that page and prefill your offer for you, so you just review and adjust.
Import the details
- Start a new offer and choose your type, then pick Import from URL.
- Paste the link to your public product page. It needs to be a full, public web address starting with https.
- Click Import Details. You will see Cloziq work through it: applying the product name, generating the description, working out the price structure, and finalizing the details.
- Review what came in. You can change the offer type or edit the link before continuing.
- Click Create Offer to drop those details into the wizard.
From there, the rest of the wizard works exactly like a manual offer. You just have a head start.
If the import does not work
A few pages cannot be read automatically, usually because they are private, behind a login, or block automated visits. If that happens, Cloziq tells you plainly and you can either fix the URL or just continue and fill in the offer by hand. There is also a daily limit on imports, so if you are batch-importing a big catalog and hit it, the rest can wait until tomorrow.
One thing imports deliberately do not do
Importing fills in your offer's details, but it does not assume the page you imported from is where buyers should pay. If you want to send buyers to your own checkout, you add that link yourself on the Payment & Delivery step, so nobody ever gets sent to a page you did not choose.
Tips
- Use the cleanest public version of your product page for the best results.
- Always give the imported details a once-over. Importing gets you most of the way, but you know your offer better than any page does.
