Getting Started

The 15-minute first launch

You can go from a fresh account to a live, automated conversation in about 15 minutes. There are three things to create, in this order: an offer, a sales agent, and an initiative. Here is the whole path, using a fitness coach as the running example. The shortcut, if you want it Before you build anything by hand: Done for You Setup, at the top of your Action Items, writes drafts of the offer and the agent for you from your own sales pages in about two minutes. You still review and publish them, and you still create the initiative yourself, but it takes the blank page away. Doing it by hand teaches you where everything lives, which is worth something on your first one. Both paths end in the same place. See Done for You Setup. Before you start Make sure your Instagram is connected. If it is not, do that first in Connect your Instagram account. To follow along on your dashboard, open the Classic Setup item in your Action Items and click Open Checklist. The checklist shows each step with a time estimate and marks them complete as you go. It is just a shortcut for your first launch, though: everything it opens also lives in the sidebar (Offers, Sales Agents, Initiatives), and once you finish all three steps the checklist retires itself. The sidebar is the permanent home. Prefer to be shown around first? Right next to the checklist you will find three short guided tours, one each for offers, sales agents, and initiatives. Each one walks you through the real builder with narration, using a sample offer so you have something concrete to look at. Every row inside the checklist also has its own Take a Tour button, so you can watch the walkthrough for a step right before you do it. Take a tour first if you like learning by watching; the checklist will still be there. Step 1: Create an offer (about 8 minutes) Your offer is the thing you want people to buy or book. It gives your agent something concrete to sell. 1. Click Offers in the sidebar (or Create an Offer from the checklist). 2. Give your offer a name and price. For our coach, that might be "6-Week Shred Program." 3. Answer the FAQ questions honestly; they become your agent's product knowledge. 4. Set how it gets paid for and delivered. Full details live in Create an offer. Step 2: Build a sales agent (about 5 minutes) Your sales agent is the assistant that actually talks to people. You give it a personality and a goal, and it runs the conversation. 1. Click Sales Agents in the sidebar (or Create a Sales Agent from the checklist). Starting from a template is the fast way; it prefills everything. There are ten templates across five categories, so there is usually one close to what you sell. 2. Name your agent and pick a tone that sounds like you. 3. Point it at the offer you just made, and pick what a win looks like: booking a call or closing a sale. 4. Publish it. Full details live in Create your first Sales Agent. Step 3: Set up an initiative (about 2 minutes) Your initiative is the trigger that decides when your agent jumps in. This is what connects a comment or a DM to your agent. 1. Click Initiatives in the sidebar and hit Build Initiative (or Create an Initiative from the checklist). 2. Pick a trigger. A popular first one is "comment on a specific post," so anyone who comments on your shred reel gets a DM. 3. Write the opt-in message, connect it to your agent, and publish. Full details live in Build your first Initiative. You're live That is it. The next time someone comments on that post or sends the right DM, they get your opt-in message, tap the button, and your agent takes the conversation from there: qualifying them and guiding them toward your offer. New people show up in Contacts, and any sales show up in Earnings. The checklist marks itself done once you have one offer, one agent, and one initiative in place. Offers

What are Offers?

An offer is the thing you want people to buy. It could be a digital product like a course, template, or download, or a service like coaching or a consulting call. Your agents pitch against an offer, so creating one is usually the first thing you do before building an agent. The two kinds of offer When you create an offer, you choose a type: - Digital Product: courses, templates, downloads, or memberships. These can be delivered automatically through Cloziq the moment someone pays. - Service: coaching, consulting, calls, and other things you do for a client. For services, you also choose how you sell: take payment directly, or drive people to a call where you close the deal yourself. The type shapes the rest of the setup, like how the offer is delivered and which questions you answer about it. Why offers matter beyond the sale An offer is not just a price tag. The details you fill in, especially the FAQs and extra context, become knowledge your Sales Agent uses to answer buyer questions and handle objections in the DMs. When a prospect asks "what exactly do I get?" at 2am, your agent answers from what you wrote here. A well-built offer makes your agent noticeably smarter. What's next Head to Create an offer to build your first one. If you already sell this product on a web page, Import an offer from a URL can fill in most of the details for you. Offers

Create an offer

Creating an offer walks you through a short wizard. You pick a type, then fill in five steps. You can do it all by hand, or let Cloziq import the details from an existing product page. Start a new offer 1. Go to Offers in the sidebar and add a new offer. 2. Choose the type: Digital Product (courses, templates, downloads, or memberships) or Service (coaching, consulting, calls, and other services you provide). 3. Choose how to start: - Manually: fill everything in yourself. - Import from URL: paste a product page link and let Cloziq prefill the details. See Import an offer from a URL. The five steps 1. Basic Information: the offer's name and description (these are internal, to keep you organized), plus promotional images your agent can share in the DMs. Images up to 800KB each. 2. Pricing: how much it costs and how the payment is structured. See Pricing your offer. 3. FAQs: the key buyer questions, which also teach your agent. See Adding FAQs and context to your offer. 4. Additional Context: extra background that helps your agent handle deeper questions. 5. Payment & Delivery: how you get paid and how the buyer receives the product. See Delivery and getting paid. Move forward and back freely with Back and Next; each step checks itself as you go. Nothing goes live until you publish. Your work saves itself While your offer is a draft, the wizard autosaves as you type. You will see a small Saving... / Saved indicator do its thing. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, and your draft is right where you left it. Use Save as Draft any time you want to step away deliberately. Finish up On the last step, Publish replaces Next. Cloziq runs a final check, and if something needs attention it tells you exactly what and jumps you to the step that needs fixing. Once published, the offer becomes Active and is ready to attach to an agent and an initiative. One thing to know for later: once an offer is in use by agents or initiatives, saving edits publishes a new version and updates everything connected to it. Cloziq reminds you before it does. Tips - If you already have a sales page for this product, importing from its URL is the fastest way to start. - Spend real time on the FAQs and Additional Context. That is what your agent leans on when a buyer asks something tricky. Related articles - Import an offer from a URL - Pricing your offer - Delivery and getting paid

Billing & Plans

Managing your subscription

Everything about your plan lives on the Billing tab in Settings. From there you can see exactly where you stand and make any change you need. See your current plan Open Settings, then the Billing tab. The Current Subscription section shows your plan, when it renews, and what it includes, like your contact and sales-conversation limits and how many agents you get. The price shown here is the price you are actually billed, not the list price. If you came in on a launch rate, a discount, or a custom arrangement, this reflects that, so it can differ from what the plan costs a new customer today. A small badge tells you the state of your plan at a glance: - Trial means you are on your free trial, and it shows when your paid subscription begins. - Canceling means you have scheduled a cancellation, and it shows the date access ends. If you do not have a plan yet, this section shows Choose a plan instead, which takes you to plan selection. Upgrading from your trial early On trial and ready to go all in? Click Upgrade now, either on the Billing tab or right from the trial card in the sidebar. Cloziq confirms first, spelling out the plan you are moving to and exactly what you will be charged today, then bills monthly from there. It ends the trial on the spot and unlocks your plan's full limits immediately. If the charge does not go through for some reason, nothing changes: you simply stay on your trial. This is also what unlocks overages, which are not available during the trial. If a discount was scheduled to apply to your subscription, upgrading early keeps it. You are not giving anything up by not waiting for the trial to run out. See What happens when your trial ends. Change or cancel your plan To upgrade tiers, downgrade, update your card, or cancel, click Manage Subscription. This opens your secure billing portal, run by our payments provider, Dodo Payments, where all billing changes happen. - Upgrades take effect right away, so you get your higher limits immediately. - Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of your current billing period. If you cancel, you keep full access until then, and your plan simply does not renew. Where your invoices and card live Your payment method, billing history, and invoices all live in the billing portal. Reach them any time through Manage Subscription. Cloziq does not store your card details itself; your payments provider handles that securely. If a payment ever fails If your card is declined at signup or renewal, do not worry about getting stuck: fix the card or pick a plan again, and checkout picks up cleanly. If anything ever looks wedged, reach out from the chat in your dashboard and we will straighten it out. Tips - If you are regularly close to your limits, compare the next tier here before reaching for overages. Upgrading is often the better value. See Reaching your limit and overages. - Cancelling does not delete your account or data. It just stops the plan from renewing. Sales Agents

Setting guardrails

Guardrails are the rules that keep your agent behaving the way you want. They tell it what never to say, how to carry itself, and when to walk away from a prospect. Setting a few good guardrails is what makes an agent feel safe to let loose on your DMs. The four kinds of guardrails All four sections are optional. You add each rule as its own short line (press Enter to add), up to 25 rules of 300 characters each per section. - Do-Nots: things the agent must never say or do. For a coach, that might be "Never promise specific weight-loss numbers." Cloziq checks every reply the agent writes against your do-nots and fixes a reply before it sends rather than letting a violation through. - Conversation Rules: guidelines for how the agent talks, qualifies, and responds, like staying encouraging or always answering a question before asking the next one. - Disqualification Rules: the reasons to disqualify a prospect, so the agent knows when someone is not a fit and stops pitching. A rule here ends the conversation quietly, with no goodbye message. If you want the agent to say something as it closes the door, do it from the Sales Flow instead: a Flow Action set to Change Lead State to Disqualified can carry an optional closing message. See Building your sales flow. - Prohibited Characters: specific characters the agent's replies must never contain, up to 25. Cloziq starts you with a sensible default set (the em dash, the en dash, and the semicolon), and you can add your own. Spaces, periods, and commas cannot be prohibited, since the agent needs them to write around everything else. Neither can letters or numbers; try and publishing stops with "Cannot prohibit letters or numbers." Templates leave placeholders here too If you started from a template, some guardrail lines may still carry bracketed placeholders like [OWNER NAME]. Publishing checks your guardrails along with everything else and stops until each one is replaced, telling you which placeholder it found and where. See Create your first Sales Agent. Every rule has to be specific enough to act on Publishing now checks that each guardrail line actually tells the agent something. A rule of one or two words, or a fragment with no instruction in it, is rejected with: "Your rule" in the do-not list is too vague for the agent to act on. Say what the agent must do or avoid, and when, for example "Never quote a price before the qualification questions are answered". Cloziq names the offending rule and the list it came from, so you know exactly which line to fix. The fix is almost always the same: say what and say when. - "Be careful" gives the agent nothing. "Never promise a specific timeline for results" does. - "Pricing" is a topic, not a rule. "Never quote a price before the qualification questions are answered" is a rule. - "Professional" is a tone, and tone already has its own setting. Use guardrails for the boundaries tone cannot express. This applies to Do-Nots, Conversation Rules, and Disqualification Rules alike. It is worth doing even where it is not enforced, because a rule the agent cannot act on is a rule that does nothing. What is already built in Some protections are always on and need no configuration. The agent never invents facts about your offer; if it does not know something, it says so instead of guessing. It never claims to have personal experiences or feelings. It never pushes a checkout or booking link before the prospect has been qualified. And when a prospect is abusive or clearly wasting time, the agent disengages on its own. Tips - Write do-nots as plain, concrete statements. "Never give medical advice" beats a long paragraph. - A couple of strong disqualification rules save you time by filtering out people your agent should not chase. - Guardrails work alongside your Sales Flow, not instead of it. The flow drives the conversation; the guardrails set the boundaries. - If Cloziq notices one of your rules keeps misfiring on a live agent, it sends you an alert so you can reword the rule. See Turning on notifications. Related articles - Building your sales flow - Automation settings - How your agent runs a conversation

Notifications & Mobile

Notifications aren't working

If push notifications are not showing up, it is almost always one of a few things. Work through these in order. Quickest first step: on Settings → Notifications, hit Send test notification. If the test arrives, push is working and the issue is with a specific category's toggle. If it does not, keep reading. The toggle is off Open Settings, then the Notifications tab, and make sure Push Notification is switched on for the kinds of alerts you want. Email and push are separate switches, so check the right one. You didn't grant browser permission Push needs your browser's permission. The first time you turn it on, your browser asks; if you dismissed or blocked that prompt, notifications cannot come through. Fix: turn the push toggle off and back on to trigger the prompt again, and allow it. If your browser remembers a block, you may need to re-enable notifications for Cloziq in your browser's site settings. This is also the right fix if push worked for a while and then stopped. Switching the toggle off and on re-registers the device, which clears out a stale registration left behind by an old version. On iPhone, Cloziq isn't installed On an iPhone, push only works when Cloziq is installed to your home screen. In a regular Safari tab there is nothing to fix and nothing is broken: iOS simply does not offer push to websites open in a tab, so the toggle will not do anything and you will not be asked for permission. Fix: install Cloziq to your home screen, open it from that icon, then turn on push. See Install Cloziq on your phone. Your device has notifications muted If everything in Cloziq looks right but nothing arrives, check your device's own notification settings and make sure Cloziq (or your browser) is allowed to notify you, and that focus or do-not-disturb modes are not blocking it. Still stuck? If you have checked all of these and push still is not working, reach out from the chat in your dashboard and tell us your device and browser. We will help you sort it out.
